Started work on another monster tonight, and I felt really girly sitting on the couch sewing. But then I also noted that I was watching Tony Jaa smash the living crap out of some mook in Ong-Bak, which was totally, like, DUDE.

I love Ulorg! my favorite pic is him climbing the flower. So tiny, so defiant, and yet so monstery.
Points can be hard--you need to trim the seam allowance to ease some of the bulk and get something poky to push the point out. Are you sewing, then, by hand? And, hot glue is not necessarily in for the long haul. If you are using fabric for features, you can also "stitch witchery" or fusible something another to fasten it together with heat before you stuff.

not that you asked for advice. Sorry! I got excited about your project.

Stitch Witchery where have you been all my life? I might not need to sew at all!
I am sewing John Henry-style. It is sometimes frustrating, and my lines are straight as Richter measurements.
I did not ask for advice, but yours is welcome because I am a humble n00b at this game.
Feel free to email me if you have any more wisdom to drop.
